South Dakota Mines now offers two different paths to pursue a Master's Degree: one in Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences and one in Chemical and Biological Sciences. Both programs provide students currently enrolled at the University the opportunity to begin an accelerated Master's program and take graduate-level courses while completing their undergraduate degree. The traditional two-year Master's program remains available for non-South Dakota Mines students or for those whose schedules or course loads do not align with the accelerated program.
For students not pursuing a degree related to the Environmental Sciences but interested in the field, South Dakota Mines offers several courses that can be used to fulfill electives. The following courses are taught by Kunzalab personnel
